A tattoo shop owner took to Facebook and called out cops and veterans, referring to us as ‘baby killers’ and ‘war criminals’, pulled no punches.

Largo, FL: Every servicemember, veteran and law enforcement officer is familiar with getting recognized for their service. But how about getting punished and mocked online for it.

That’s exactly what happened with a tattoo shop in Largo, Florida. The owner of Revival Tattoo Collective took to Facebook and went on rant and completely denounced the veteran and police community.

His dislike and disdain for vets and LEOs was clear and unmistakable.

“People all in their feelings because I expressed my opinion of the military and law enforcement. My opinion is that the military is a bunch of war criminals and law enforcement kills babies and unarmed citizens in the street.  If you don’t like my opinion cool, but you’re not going to change it,” the shop’s Facebook page wrote.

They added, “Once again for the slow ones 🖕 the military.”

The Facebook post went viral and hundreds of comments were generated, some in agreement, believe it or not.

“The military preys on underprivileged youth by luring them in with promises to pay for college and makes it sound like it’s their only opportunity to get ahead in life. ACAB,” one person wrote in support of the tattoo shop.

The term ACAB gained popularity during the post George Floyd, defund the police era in 2020, which stands for all cops are bastards.

An overwhelming amount of the comments, however, were negative against the shop and supported the military and LEO community.

And some were funny.

“Sorry your girlfriend left you for someone in the military. Probably was tired of your cuck behavior,” Facebook user Eric Smith-Jones wrote.

Another user posted a meme of a person handing over a book titled ‘Handbook for the Retarded’.

Both of these posts were reposted by the tattoo shop in an attempt to “prove they are right”. But we see it as reminiscent of veterans’ general dark sense of humor.

Another post, which was more serious in nature, garnered a lot of support from other Facebook users.

“This kind of thinking is disappointing and immature. Judging an entire group by the actions of a few is the same type of prejudice I’m sure you claim to oppose. (IE: Against a race, the lgbtq community, etc…) There are good and bad people in every profession and every walk of life. I’ve served alongside people of every background imaginable and some of the most selfless, compassionate individuals I’ve met wear a uniform. Reducing millions of military members and law enforcement officers to the worst examples among them isn’t being “woke” or smart- it’s just bias. If you are going to reject stereotypes, you should reject them consistently. Heal yourself and break this never-ending cycle of conflict among humans,” Aubrey Michel-Munson wrote.

No Slowing Down

Since the original viral post, Revival Tattoo Collective has not laid off the throttle. They continue to back their original post and seem to have no intention of slowing down.

Most competent business owners, by now, would delete the post, apologize, or shut off all social media and lay low for a while. But not Revival. They continue to double down their hatred for the military by responding to negative comments by spewing more hate.

Not exactly good business practices.

Another tattoo shop nearby, Alchemy Tattoos, did show good business practices and took to social media to welcome the military.

The owner of Alchemy Tattoos, Richard Stevens, said, “I am so sorry that there’s been any type of tattoo shop that would make you feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and that is absolutely unacceptable. Military is always welcome, and police and teachers. We really don’t hate or discriminate here.”
